Can anyone parse the tech spec of the PS5 Pro and let me know if there's any hardware improvements that might somehow improve remote play latency/achieve even quicker asset loading-in/game downloading, to counteract said latency?

Well yeah, but those are the manufacturer's vanilla versions of the games provided to the streaming services. PC entry point means mods/fan fixes. Something consoles by and large can't offer. It's sorta different.

Likewise I've regularly bought the "not baseline" version of a game I'm interested in, usually because it's inclusion of season pass dlc contains something I want in it. I think even single player games can have GAAS style support tail-ends, it's just about listening-to/enabling playerbase.

I thought it was a thing where a game is on this service but then the agreement ends and other console gets it for a bit because publishers like money more than relationship maintaining. Didn't that happen somewhat recently with a high profile game from someone... Was it GTA?

That's a fair amount of FF games leaving with suspicious timing. Part of that commitment to xb I guess, I take it they're gonna hop over to GP? *shakes head disapproving* I'm not the only one who always thought Capcom was the more desirable publisher of the two, right?

I've been hearing this since at least PS4 days if not before. C'mon Sony, get a real PS Portable made and give these devs a platform they might be more comfortable with. Code to a PS4 standard, reap the portability benefits and displace Switch a little.
