Discussion Forspoken environment looks so empty
The gameplay from the 10 minute trailer looks good and it opens with what looks like a populated city. I'm guessing the open world will mostly be where monsters/enemies lurk between the major hubs. There also seems to be several different biomes which is good. -

Bokeh was founded by Keiichiro Toyama, former Japan Studio director, and creator of Silent Hill/Gravity Rush/Siren. A lot of the people who left Japan Studio now work at Bokeh. If Sony acquired them it would be similar to how they bought Firesprite after they closed down Liverpool studio...- rac3r

I honestly think it's FUD and marketing tactics. It's how they keep the Xbox fanbase engaged, especially through their game drought. It also sows doubt in the minds of consumers who are on the fence. this. it's clear that sony isn't going to buy a publisher unless it makes financial sense, and is a good fit for the company. for example, bungie was a synergistic acquisition to assist with gaas and their FPS void. they'll take calculated risks on studios (e.g. Haven) but I don't see them...
