Well yeah, but those are the manufacturer's vanilla versions of the games provided to the streaming services.
PC entry point means mods/fan fixes. Something consoles by and large can't offer. It's sorta different.
Likewise I've regularly bought the "not baseline" version of a game I'm interested in, usually because it's inclusion of season pass dlc contains something I want in it.
I think even single player games can have GAAS style support tail-ends, it's just about listening-to/enabling playerbase.
Lmao now I feel left out.
I had to first find Bryan out on twitter after a GAF ban and come to see the idea I had was already happening lol so I joined IE.
Got both of these now... Kinda.
Portal is a bag of shit. SO FED UP of it losing connection and me surfing the great purple wormhole to get back in. It seemed to work slightly better at my brothers house for a time, but then was back to normal shittiness out of nowhere, leaving me to ask if the...
I thought it was a thing where a game is on this service but then the agreement ends and other console gets it for a bit because publishers like money more than relationship maintaining. Didn't that happen somewhat recently with a high profile game from someone... Was it GTA?
That's a fair amount of FF games leaving with suspicious timing. Part of that commitment to xb I guess, I take it they're gonna hop over to GP? *shakes head disapproving*
I'm not the only one who always thought Capcom was the more desirable publisher of the two, right?
I've been hearing this since at least PS4 days if not before. C'mon Sony, get a real PS Portable made and give these devs a platform they might be more comfortable with. Code to a PS4 standard, reap the portability benefits and displace Switch a little.
I would gladly do so, if I thought it would actually lead to better produced games, and not just go towards some b.s. Or if it was something where I could submit ideas/suggestions and they'd at least reach someone in the know.
Friend's journey:
Bought latest Farming Sim, 22/23? on Google Stadia cause he didn't have a console.
Migrated to GP to continue playing on phone on XB pad.
Bought my XBSX to play on tv.
Now wants a ROG alley after playing on mine. Primarily for PC mods for Farming Sim, but here's the kicker...
So this letter got lost behind a desk for 10 years at Sony HQ and then posted, right?
Sony becoming secretive? Yeah that's been a talking point and a wrong direction since TLG's prolonged development. This isn't news?
I don't mind it when it was like Page and Dafoe in Beyond Two Souls. Or Hayden Panit... The Heroes Cheerleader likeness in Until Down. They could mine existing IP and new ones back towards media for a related series or movie. Just put in language for character likenesses, voice over work...
I always hope for the announcement of a backwards compatability service upgrade. Why did that Regina PS Classics banner exist in the first place? C'mon, get on with it.
Quick driveby post really, but I've heard of some PS5 performance issues in passing. People would still recommend the PS5 version if PC version runs on a ROG Ally?
