If the proposed XB Handheld has some form of x86/x64 windows, you can use mods. (Granted I don't know if Steam Deck can do mods, but being linx gaming compatability layer I imagine it isn't as straight forward as Windows mods?)
Let's put it this way:
Rog 1 - armory crate update fucked the left stick's ability to register left and right inputs.
Rog 2 - windows update fucked up windows to where I couldn't get back into Windows (pin missing) or reset OS (basically, fuck off nothing works). Thank fuck for Asus cloud...
Some games will switch to player-based match making once the dev/pub devices the server cost isn't effective anymore. I'm speaking out of my depth here and can't remember the example I used to use, but it's deffinately been done.
I think all games should sunset their servers if needed, but then...
I believe/hope that we'll have console big brothers, and handheld little brother companion devices, foregoing the Slim models.
Continue gaming with buttons, and all game save/friends etc stuff included, natively. With a working web browser, voice chat/discord integration, one or two choice...
I feel like Disney could be a force, but they've dipped in and out of the gaming biz through subsidiaries like Virgin Interactive, or owned studios and shut then down and license-out IP instead, so many times its rediculous and current Disney would probably be too gunshy. It's like shit or get...
I can't be the only one to think a straight port of UC and TLOU MP's, released to PC/PS5 as new pair of standalone games, backed with a PS Tournaments push would do wonders for PC/GAAS goals? And I am meaning just dropping the "iso's" onto the PC/PStores, not even needing to add more content...
I think there's something to this, like when RE tried chasing the COD, COD fans want COD, not pretenders/also-rans. Stop making everything off Fortnite visuals too, devs. I think some games would have gotten a fair-er shake if they weren't Off Fortnite visuals with "danger hair"-style character...
Oh Wtf... Let the other dude handle it, who pushes out patch notes and mission instructions in character.
I (will be, when I can afford the game) shooting bugs. I don't care about any of this stuff being at the forefront of the game or a part of it's bts decision making. Just stop beating...
I can see the usages for this. WWE2K Developer makes people grind through daily reward towers or gameplay story modes to unlock things that already should be unlocked through dlc season pass unlocker etc. I never said I wanted to play your shit story modes to grind out unlockables which are...
I mean... I can throw a ROG Ally onto a TV with a long ass hdmi and essentially turn it into a whole ass portable console in the form of a wired controller.. ?
There's WiFi streaming/screen mirroring something into the TV like miracast too (never worked for me, but stuff exists).
Can anyone parse the tech spec of the PS5 Pro and let me know if there's any hardware improvements that might somehow improve remote play latency/achieve even quicker asset loading-in/game downloading, to counteract said latency?
