iOS is one of the most widely used operating systems. Do you see a problem with Microsoft blocking a developer from publishing an application on Windows? I think it's kind of important that they can't do that. The hoops required to publish anything on iOS is already pretty unacceptable before...
Multiple viable options available to you:
1. Build a PC for the living room because it's worth it
Here's mine in the bottom right:
2. Buy a full sized desktop maybe like this one, hide it out of sight and run a long HDMI cord to the TV.
3. Buy a pre-made mini PC like this one:

if i ran around saying PS5 costs $2000, that would be foolish, right? It doesn't cost 4x the cost of a PS5 to get into PC gaming at all, and if you really "don't care about resolution or framerates", you can get into PC gaming more cheaply than a PS5.
PS5 is good though, go ahead and enjoy it.
It's just getting less and less of an issue. APIs are better now than 15 years ago. Vulkan targets almost every platform you'd want other than Xbox, which might be dying anyway. intel and amd cpus HAVE to be compatible with eachother. More important applications than videogames rely on x86...

I think a gaming laptop...
Why would you assume that the first day and date Playstation game on PC is the best they could possibly do? It's gonna grow. If Concord is a great game, it will do as good or better than Helldivers. Same with Marathon. Sony will see the obvious: that they have nothing to lose and everything to...
Port begging isn't half as annoying/obnoxious as whining that a port is actually going to happen. A port beggar wants to play a game they can't play, which is reasonable. A port whiner is mad someone else gets to play a game, which is antisocial loser behavior.
