News Black Myth: Wukong Nvidia Ray tracing trailer

Looks amazing! We really need an Nvidia-based x86 handheld with these kinds of enhancements built in on backlog games. How sick would it be to play Fallout New Vegas with AI-upscaled textures and ray tracing on a handheld????!!!

PC Tim Sweeney emailed Gabe Newell calling Valve 'you assholes' over Steam policies, to which Valve's COO simply replied 'you mad bro?'

Tim Sweeney is viscerally repulsive. Good to see Valve showing Sweeney the level of respect he deserves. We have the side-by-side. On the one hand, you have Steam. It takes 30% (down to 20% over $50m revenue), and offers world class features and service. On the other hand you have Epic Game...

PC Star Wars: OutlawsWill be a Day One Release on Geforce Now | New Titles coming to the service

Correct, but there is still a 2nd layer of approval for Geforce Now. It's not just a PC in the cloud with your Steam login. It's a subset of your library approved for streaming. This is by far the biggest weakness for Geforce Now, and them advertising "Day 1 Releases!" only highlights it.

Not even close to owing Nintendo 2.5M and a bootlicking statement admitting all wrongdoing.

Discussion Is the steam deck a success?

The first big success is that more name brand PC OEMs are making handhelds so soon after the Deck. It's likely that other gaming brands like Alienware and (HP) Omen will make their own. Hell, it's possible Xbox will make their own. I don't think Valve set out to sell 100M Steam Decks. They set...

Discussion Sony: PS will remain our core product expanding our gaming experiences to PC & mobile |UP| Rumor: "Big games untouchable" regarding day/date to PC.

Online is a core experience in a number of popular PC games. I've heard it said on Icon Era that PC gamers only care about online games. Odd.

Discussion How is Emulation supposed to be "Game Preservation"?

This is really besides the point. Of course I'm not saying don't buy games, get all your games from shady websites. I mostly play new games, and I buy all the games I play. But it's still a net positive to have unauthorized games floating around illicitly on the internet. I don't want to see big...

i'm not saying it will come, but that would be a hilariously bad reason for it not to come.

Discussion How is Emulation supposed to be "Game Preservation"?

I don't have a problem with this, but you gotta know that Nintendo doesn't give a fuck about your personal morality here. To them, protecting (aka hoarding) IP is everything because maybe they'll use Stadium as a monthly Nintendo Switch Online incentive next month, or maybe there will be a...

News Spider-Man: The Great Web Trailer Leaked Online |UP| 3/13/24 Second Trailer posted.

How about instead of a super hero game where everybody has the same abilities, what if it's a make-your-own super hero imposter game where you don't have any super powers, but you use low tech tools and stealth to "fight crime". A multiplayer open world city with dudes like this roaming the...

Nothing is confirmed, but this thread only contains negative quotes when there are positive statements. Yamauchi was asked by GTPlanet if the franchise could follow Uncharted and Horizon to the PC platform, this was his response: https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-on-pc-could-happen/
