I actually don’t compare the two at all.
I don’t know a single person who has a Switch and no other gaming platform. I’d guess a lot of those types would be children.
I haven’t committed my time to a multiplayer game since the early days of R6 Siege. MP overall is so much more volatile and subject to trends and shifts. Hard to rely on a game satisfying players long term.
I was just thinking about playing through these, or at least watching a retrospective of the series.
I miss the days when Killzone, Resistance, and Socom were out on the same console.
It’s levels to what people are willing to endure for the sake of a challenge.
I’m pretty sure you don’t play with permdeath rules. I know people who do and they have the most right to question who is and isn’t getting the most out of their gameplay experience.
I buy them off the strength of putting my money where my mouth is. Some of these games aren’t worth the price of admission buy I’ll support them anyway.
I got this for my birthday as a child and even I don’t care about the IP.
It was a collect-a-thon and frankly I value my time too much now to actively request another game in the Banjo Kazooie franchise of all things.
Of course, it works for Nintendo.
Also don’t lock the Classic collection behind the highest tier of PS+. People are upset you can’t buy certain games separately, but allowing access at the entry level tier may help.
Skill has been steadily phased out of most multiplayer games.
Either that or the skill ceiling is so high you can’t hope to ever come close if you’re just some guy playing on his down time (me).
I can’t even rely on the iPhone’s stock alarm sounds anymore. It’s like my brain is immune to it after 15 years of hearing the same tunes.
I’d like to give this a shot if it doesn’t remain out of stock forever like a lot of their novelty products.
