so they are dropping the Xbox name? Good it’s an ugly name what will they call it? Maybe they only recently decided on a rebranding. They also rebranded Bing to copilot. All is very confusing because MS never has long term plans. -

Any other company would not survive the xbox one fiasco or launching a new console without exclusives! Sega went 3rd publisher for far less... What I mean is, as long MS is willing to throw money at the brand and influence media, the brand will be around and next week strategy will be praised on... -

I agree and Sony did purchase all the IPs from the Amiga and only released one game from all those IPs. They need a second team for the playstation studios, focusing on AA games and making smaller teams within their own studios like they had back in the PS4 early cycle. -
Discussion So now that Xbox is going 3rd party, what will be the reactions of 3rd party publishers throughout the industry?
All I predict is MS and EA ceasing their long friendship ( now they are competitors ) MS has the money but do they have the experience and passion to manage so many studios? Anyway I think things will change! I doubt there will be another Xbox. What will they do with the inventory? -

It’s alright nobody believes me! What I say rarely get the attention of anyone! Problem is studio’s are afraid to touch IPs. Also some years ago Sony brought the IPs from the Amiga system…. They released one game out of that. PS. Let’s pray for Motorstorm and the tomorrow children. -

Development is not always easy. Thanks I shall try to post more without getting into trouble. He is aright, at least he knows how games are made. A lot of Sony's dormant IPs are being revived because of him. He is more a multiplayer guy who sees Playstation as lacking on it. Just wish they went... -

Same I think, I got interested in Indiana jones but I've read that is first person... so I imagine it is more of a shooter with a whip... and less like the original Tomb Raider. Also MS never managed so many studios... the game could be a mess. -

I think it is more like, put their games everywhere while they learn how to manage so many studios. Xbox had so many plans and look how all of those turned out... as usual it will be a lot of talk that will result in nothing good for their fans. -
Xbox Who could have predicted that Gamepass is value destructive?
Exactly, I was banned on a forum for writing basically that. People did not realize investors want returns quickly and that MS never own/managed that many studios. Gamepass is only possible because MS has a lot of money, it was a way to try to disrupt the gaming space and Xbox's competitors...
