    This is extra terrible news for Xbox. PS owners did not switch to Xbox to play this on GP, and GP is unlikely to have grown at all - people who used to purchase the game now just get it for free. OUCH

    Because if it sells like the WiiU, Xbox Series or Vita, it's getting cancelled and you'll have fewer games to play on that platform, making the investment less worthwhile.

    Digital data also did not "change all this". MW3 still sold less than MW2 and the splits remained heavily in PS' corner. The year on year decline is disastrous for a new purchase and revenue-driver like COD.
