I bet with 4 billion dollars Sony could’ve locked down gta 6 as a timed exclusive and it would’ve been magnitudes more impactful than anything bungie ever will produce.
Also strange he complains about Xbox sales being bad in Japan so publishers skip it there immediately after MS just hiked the price. It’s like everything he is saying is in defiance of reality. I’m guessing MS is paying so much for these ports to save face that it really doesn’t matter to SE...
This is a blatant lie: "Yoshida told Eurogamer that Final Fantasy 14's recent release on Xbox was met with a "really strong response" and is just the "starting point"
FF14 wasnt even in the top 50 xbox games played the week it launched. It also had so many stipulations like needing to pay for...
Ive seen copes where they hiked the price because of scalpers buying so many PS5s because of Wukong. I wonder if there is any truth to that? The first time theyre going to TGS in awhile, why poison the well and goodwill like this now?
I bet the marketing contracts were signed sometime in 2021 when MS/ Phil assumed that the Series S would keep up momentum, starfield and the rest of bethesdas games would be a hit, and the ABK deal would close and MS would eventually get COD exclusive. In reality the bottom fell out completely...
I’d like to think This flop is so monumental it’s going reverberate through the entire industry much less Sony. This is not the environment you want to launch a game for the “modern audience” anymore. The backlash to these things is way too strong and the projects way too expensive to make that...
So what are the other 3 games if its a wave of 4 each time? Im going with Forza 5, Flight Sim, and Avowed. The reason its delayed is to do day and date ps5 imo.

Invest through stock purchases:
-15/20 Percent of SE to have timed exclusive dibs on FF
-Some sort of lonterm partnetship or investment into Konami's gaming division to have dibs on their Ips.
-Invest more in fromsoft ware to help them develop more games and get an exclusive from...
Hopefully some day we get a behind the scenes book of what happened at Xbox/Microsoft between 2019 and Now. They went from buying up the industry to becoming third party in the span of 3 years and I don’t think that was supposed to be the plan.
