It's great to see DQIII performing so well! No surprise here with a Switch heavy purchase rate, as DQ is still largely the most popular in its home market, where Switch continues to perform very well.
I'm excited to try out the PC release after it hits gets a few sales discounts!
This would be big if true, the previous estimates being tossed around were way higher.
This is great since I've been kicking around possibly picking up a 50 series upgrade.
PoE 1 is definitely worth a playthrough and eases you into the world mythos.
It's a particularly great play if you're a fan of CRPGs like Baldur's Gate and Icewindale
I'm very cautiously excited for this release.
I liked POE 1 & 2 alot. However, I wasn't thrilled with The Outerworlds.
I'm really hoping this is a good one, as I can always use more RPGs to be excited about!
Not what I voted for, but very happy for both awarded studios and fans of the games!
Very sensible outcome though, given this one is completely popular choice.

After the release of Unknown 9, Reflector Entertainment is unfortunately laying off 18% of their workforce.

Let's just say this will be my wallet on the 27th:
Will probably pick up most of the PC available games nominated for TGAs this year, as well as some games from the Wishlist backlog if the prices are right.
I've begun playing Animal Well, an indie metroidvania game developed by Billy Basso and published by Bigmode.
Animal Well is nominated for best independent game in this year's TGA. I'll have an update once I'm further along.
But... if your goal is to have SH console locked, you can force that as a license requirement not only from Bloober, but also any other studio.
If your argument is just they should own more studios, then the potential for more Silent Hill is not really relevant.
Uh... why would they even need to acquire Bloober for this?
Bloober licensed the IP from Konami. All they'd need to do is buy the license from Konami...
I think that's perfectly normal.
Reviews can be a metric for quality; however, they're ultimately a subjective one. No need to limit yourself by game reviews if a title speaks to you personally! 😀
If I had to venture a guess, it's because they enjoy creating new worlds and game settings.
It's true Elden Ring shares many assets and gameplay mechanics with Dark Souls. However, it would be rather reductive to equate their mythos and world settings.
I happen to have his quote handy, though...
I'm sorry to hear fewer games spoke to you this year than last. I hope you'll find more to enjoy from next year's releases.
