    I was more of a PC gamer back then but even so that specific window is too narrow to be called best at anything if you never played MS exclusive games. I tried Halo but it was truly unimpressive. Gears of war looked funky af. I never remember a MS exclusive that I felt I must play.

    Like seriously, the rigs the most have might be as well be toasters as a side job in the winter lol like you said PS5 is above the median even today, and high end especially in terms of I/O solution. PS5 Pro once released will be high end and enthusiast class mixture.

    No not with! 45% is pure raw number increase in compute power. That's not including the RT improvements in CUs due to upgrade in uArch. Stop spreading wrong information.

    10.2 TF RDNA2 --> 16TF RDNA3/4 This upgrade is still huge in raw performance, and since it's console, the first part studios will eke out even more from the hw with low level access if they wanted to. I don't get this TF figures obsession, just look at PS5 and Series X game comparisons, PS5...

    The thing I'm looking forward to most is a Mark Cerny 2 hour presentation with his soothing voice explaining PS5 Pro hardware.

    Similar to that but much more elegant and official looking. There aren't many crossing lines in their design language, so those blue led parts would be curvy.

    Like I said, it will come with no disc but it can be added just like slim. They might release a second SKU with disc but it will be 649$.

    Aren't they moving too fast? I get they have revised their plans and maybe they'll do more and faster. But they have to adjust the trickle rate while keeping it interested if they don't want to ran out of content if it's not ready.

    It won't have a disc edition, Slim's disc will fit in the same way so at least one side if the design is going to be quite similar. If the leaks are correct it will be a good machine. They might price it 549 but this time 599 is a bigger reality.

    They changed the sleep and shut down animations. Previously it was grey like the system theme, now it is black background. Particles are now white and move into the system led strip in a better animation. Also tried controller speaker and it feels so much better. It was hard to understand...
