Those people left before Microsoft bought them. Thats how Weird West happened and Wolfeye Studios was born. Zenimax had them making a game they didnt want to make so they left

I think both companies are good in a good spot. Better spots than they were last gen.
Xbox needs to get its AAA games out. Sony needs to make some successful MP games.

You're still looking at it from the Sony POV and not from the Capcom POV. If Capcom has an Elden Ring-level hit then they will never be bought by anyone. They would have no need to be bought by anyone. They would have all the money and resources to be successful on their own
They wasn't but they are now. They've successfully revived Cyberpunk. The CP show was a massive success. The CP2077 DLC comes next year. Sequel is in development. 2 Witcher games are in development
