It is fair to always assume the hardware with the maximum potential to compare to. Just because Tom doesn't own a powerful PC doesn't mean that a high-end PC can't implement the best output.

It's really weird you guys keep hitting the same key with this. Spiderman is a 4 YEAR OLD game, that shit was cool 4 years ago it's not some extra pixels that will make the game better. MAYBE 5% of PC user will have a rig that will play it better than the PS5.

I don't know if advocating for more pixels is worth being out of the loop for so long. I can't picture myself waiting 2-4 years to play a good game just because.

I mean Steam says:

67.10% have 1080p capable monitor.
11.48% have 1440p capable monitor.
2.60% have 4k capable monitor.

There are some variations but < 1% and 4k variations are into Others 2.04%.

It's just not the price that matter, power consuption and noise are two things that disappointed me now that I tried Spiderman on PC. Playing in 4K Max settings, my 3090 is noisy as fuck, reminds me of my old PS4 pro.
