Its burned into my mind, CEX (computer exchange) and UK Game stores always had this.I never had this on PS2 when it first came out.

Xcom 2 is on sale for £2 on PSN btw. I just bought it along with SlitterheadNot a fan of strategy games
The only one I ever enjoyed was XCOM: Enemy Unknown, I dunno if that's classified as a strategy game? But it was enjoyable lol.

Was gonna wait till I picked the PS5 Pro to play it, but thats not gonna happen for at least a few days
Because obviously PC gamers who own already gaming KBMs would make the jump to PlayStation if they could buy a (probably) worse product. Makes sense.
Giving the option is just better. Some people cant afford a PC and want something more gaming specific like a console.
Also doesnt hurt anyone lol. It doesnt stop console gamers or PC gamers enjoying there games if there is an option for KBM for PS5
I'm not saying there shouldn't be an option, it's the supposition that PC gamers would switch to consoles (or buy additionally a console) which the post I replied to made which is laughable.
Yeah I dont think Sony is ever attracting the majority of PC players. Some randomers sure but very few of the average Steam user. They like what they like and have invested into the platform/digital store etc.
The only players PScould attract with better KBM options is, a very tiny portion of new comers instead of going els where. And probably an even smaller percentahe who arent that invested in PC gaming who have friends who play on consoles.
PC has its advantages like consoles do, and KBM is one of the things PC guys like and say is an advantage, right or wrong.
PC can use all sorts of controllers etc, ( not as smooth and out the box as consoles though)
PS having good KBM options just means more options and more games. Which could down the road help bring new gamers who prefer “PC” or KBM games.
Im a console gamer, I use to be a PC gamer too since I was a kid but havent since 2011. I still enjoy games like Total War once in awhole and some strategy, sim games. Id love to play them on PS5/PS6 like I do Civilization. And having more options of KBM doesnt take anything away from me
