It is a great game... better found a way different from it main line racing sim... in fact it replaced Forza Motorsport asmain line title.

It is crazy,... the MS trio was always:

Halo
Gears
Forza Motorsport

The only change happened in Xbox gen...

Halo
Gears
Forza Horizon
 
Halo isn’t in the Xbox trio. Not even close since Halo 4. The numbers have been pitiful since before welfare pass.

It’s more like:

call of duty
Minecraft
Forza Horizon

Like… Sea of Thieves is hugely more successful than the last 3 halo games.

343 halo is a abomination and joke. They can rename themselves but guaranteed they’ll insult and bury the Halo brand further. Worst big budget studio in the industry by far. Literally everything was a huge fail; every time.

Majority of the sales are from PS5 it's pretty clear over million (plus) has been sold on the platform, your constant attempt to downplay this game on PlayStation is very concerning.

Fixed for accuracy.

The guy is spreading false information... it should be called out no matter the game is.
It is not like we don't have the same data he is using as "sold" displayed in the game.

I believe you mentioned above that on average, there are about 500,000 new players per month on Xbox/PC. I assume that removing those from the equation would give us a closer number?
 
Reminds me, I must play more of it tonight.

Gran Turismo is more my style but I can't deny that Forza is fun and easy to drop in and out.

GT I find myself sitting down and locked in for a long session.

Averages can change over time but yes that is what was show this year.

Jan 4: 43m
Mar 18: 44.5m
Apr 15: 45.0m

Around 500k per month.
Maybe it dropped but it fair to assume that around 200-300k (20 days instead a month) are indeed from others platforms and not PS5.
Plus there are different accounts playing the same sold game...

I still believe it sold around 1 million on PS5 but there are no proof at all.
It just the guys posting these 1.4m as being sold on PS5 doesn't do any good for PlayStation community... we don't rely on lies to post gaming sales imo and right now there is a push on Ex-bots to push sales of Xbox games on PS5 bigger than what it is (somehow their new narrative is that PlayStation gamers don't buy PlayStation games... only Xbox games lol).

IMO saying it sold 1.4 million on PS5 is like saying it sold 45 million on Xbox + PC... it is all fake narratives.
 
I would not have bought this game if I knew I had to link my Microsoft account that I didn't know I even had and having to sit through that ugly ass Xbox logo on the screen. No way Sony would allow them to do that if Xbox was not on it's way out. I'm convinced there will be no next gen Xbox console. Best you'll get is Xbox branded PC's from OEM's, and you wont be able to move your Xbox library over either. Sucks to be an Xbot.

I think the first game to not have Xbox linked account from Microsoft will be Gears Reloaded.
BTW you are now counted in Xbox's MAUs.

It does matter for what I pointed.

Gears Reloaded is the first MS games to not require Xbox account to play.

Oblivion and Doom are published by Bethesda on PlayStation 5.
CoD is published by Activision Blizzard on PlayStation 5.
They indeed not require Xbox account to play like every other Activision Blizzard and Bethesda game.

While they are owned by Microsoft they are still not working behind Microsoft... that means they didn't fuse the Microsoft business model yet.
 
I wonder if these guys are using some type of Trophies site which players needs to register and extrapolating from that..
To go against actual players data that can be checked in game is something else lol




PS. The most weird is that they graph numbers really matches the leaderboard data for the periods we have.
