Update on this fwiw. I phoned my brother and he seems to think we didn't get past (Edit: Cheers @KiryuRealty for spg checks) character creation because my rig was crap, though he thinks there was a work around for split-screen we were going to try.It is not about detail… it just because I tried to find it there is split-screen on PC and I reached that:
“Will there be split-screen in Early Access?
Split screen will not be available on Early Access launch.”

I have this game on GOG and my laptop couldn't handle it. I'll try it again near release and if it's still bad I'll get the superior PS5 version made with the help of Playstation Malaysia. They are wizards.
