Genuinely insane to me that you would "regret" purchasing a good product, presumably months go, because you could have gotten it for free later. If the product is good, why don't you want to pay for it? Why is paying for it a negative?
Especially games with a tonne of replayability like you can just fire it up whenever you want & you aren't tied to a subscription service
