The point is, why would a franchise that is third party go to any sub service by default.

Yet they are making that deal while saying sweet FA about Diablo.

Surely they would say "Diablo comes to gamepass when the deal goes through" which would be in line with their PR strategy of celebrations mixed with bullying.

They say nothing about Diablo because they know Xbox people don't speak up when they receive nothing, so if it doesn't go to gamepass Xbox players won't say a thing and continue paying their subs.

So, let's get this straight. CoD is coming to Nvidia and Nintendo is because MS are buying ABK, Diablo not coming to gamepass is because MS haven't bought ABK yet.

I could’ve sword Phil Spencer even said all future activsion blizzard games would be on gamepass? Now being the snake oil sales man he is maybe he meant like eventually but not say one? Or blizzard is reading the room and not 100 percent sure the deal is even going to go through?


To everyone else: Be petty, buy it used at GameStop. If blizzard wants to sell its soul to Microsoft, do not reward them. But that’s me, I’m not a a Diablo player.

With the shit they pulled regarding the necromancer DLC for Diablo III, and black-holing the original PS4 version and DOUBLING the price on the replacement version, Blizzard can jam Diablo IV up their asses.

The game could go on Gamepass if MS wanted it to. Or are we claiming Sony have a secret agreement with Activision to stop it going on Gamepass too?

Activision doesn't, by policy, put any games on subscription services on a continuous basis. The games they put on PS Plus were only monthly games, not in the game catalog.
