There is a whole faction called Sisters of Battle that is made up of badass warrior nuns in warhammer 40k but they want female custodes lmao. This is just done out of pure spite, they don't want the male fans to have anything they love.

It’s just to force shit onto other people whether they want it or not.

Over here scalpers/collectors bought up the physical copies (controller as well). Sad to say but the game did sell when it died..

They had 250M.

Is there anything official out there?
It was a small team of less than 12 until 2019 supposedly, thats information from a developer of the game.

Sony really need to take not of all the bs spread and how to deal with it. Regardless of how people feel about the game. This isnt about the game.
Its how media and rivals make bs up.

Ign and others said Sony has a secret deal with Wu Kong, MS also insinuated these twice now for 2 games. Despite the developer coming out and saying there is no secret exclusive.

Ign making articles saying Concord cost 250 million etc, going down the rabbit hole. There is no evidence and just spread by media

800m because fuck it.

The 250 is money raised for 3 games. Apparently Concord got 250m and the other two are made for free according to the people pushing that narrative.

No official figures and unlikely now to come out

Jason said the cost of concord was up to “9 figures” just last night in an X post. So at least 100 million.

Sony bought the game and dev from incubation from Probably Monsters. So there’s the cost of buying the studio and then whatever was needed to finish it.

Reading some of “journalists” articles about the game to find out details and they literally are just spinning each others shit.
They had a feel day with it all as PS fans didnt call out the bs.

Same with the Wu Kong lies of exclusivity. Sony needs to make sure Media cant keep doing this shit

Also 250m for 8 years full production for a company existing less than that is peak dumbassery.

ProbablyMonsters raised 200 million to be shared amongst Concord and Two others games... That's the only figure we ever got

We know that Concord was gonna share a 200 million budget with two other games.

Nothing else.

Why did Probably Monsters sell it off?

Are they just like an incubation company to help startups? All I know it’s also founded by former Bungie design leads etc.

It’s just that all those Bungie splinter devs in the past never amounted to anything. As a fan I had the inverse reaction. I didn’t expect much and just considered that marketing bullshit. Disintergration, Concord, Halo Infinite etc… and for the latter two it’s just inferior coverband stuff that pales in comparison to the real deal.

So where I’m getting at is… did Probably Monsters sell it off because they didn’t care for it? Did Sony make these deals before actually acquiring Bungie proper and instead chasing those long removed and laid off. I get such an impression tbh.

Now, if Sony wants to contract Marty and Salvatori for future game soundtracks; please spend all the money to get them onboard.

ProbablyMonsters was a start up they didn't have a lot of cash reserves. If PlayStation is willing to take over funding, marketing and proposed a buyout, why would they not take it? Lol

Didn't they do some lay offs last year and then shutdown one of their studios as well, just months after FireWalk was bought by Sony.

Right. I saw something that indicated PM had money issues. And what they decided to sell off was Concord and Firewalk.

If there’s other games PM is holding onto… why did they let Concord be the one? It’s why I assumed PM was designed to incubate startups but if they’re trying to be a pub themselves? I dunno — you wouldn’t give up a golden goose egg.

This is also why the rumors of production costs for Concord are interesting tbh.
