Looks like August will be a very good month for PS5 ( not counting that riot in the New York, LOL )

Announced PS5 discount at Target before, now almost everywhere :

With enough stocks retailers will do these deals… that is great.

This Black Friday will probably be the best for PS5… previous ones where heavy affected by the supply issues.

The Xbox Series X is, therefore, the only product in the history of the "free market" that's severely supply constrained, has loads of demand, but whose price ceiling does not increase and whose scalpers lose money on.

And still, you have the balls to say people don't understand about economics. You, an illiterate fool that has been in denial over his favourite console not having demand.

Also, on the PS5 debaclum, when the console was in short supply and demand was through the roof, you could see the bundles flying of the shelves, some of them over the $550 ceiling. Additionally, you could see the console being sold for over $700 on ebay.

That's what a real shortage is, you melon.
This post is hilarious for all the right reasons.

I've deleted the rest of your nerd sweat because after heaving and puffing on that inhaler, you've finally come to grips with reality in these last two sentences.

Also known as: demand not exceeding supply. Thanks for kissing my ring. You got there in the end.

Basic economic theory. Lower prices move a higher quantity of the good.

Welcome to reality.
Demand not exceeding supply, but you already admitted Series X $499 was hard to find. You're a joke.

Basic economic theory: $499 Series X sells more than $559 bundle.

Once again, everything I said was right.

Oh and I don't live on this forum like you do, I come back here every so often to see what inane argument you post that ends up saying nothing of substance or explains how you already agreed with me from the start.

You're the guy that posted GameStop images that said the Series X was sold out in your area while trying to argue they were in stock. You're the melon haha.

Do I need to post the Mat Piscatella tweet again where he said Series X was hard to find back at the end of March, and it wasn't until June when that changed?

I'll make it real bold this time. The $499 Series X was constantly selling out prior to June 2023 and would always outperform the $559 Forza bundle when back in stock. Instead of arguing around the topic, tackle that.

That exactly why PS5 doesn’t have more supply issues… when it was limited these bundles that doesn’t sell today was being sold in minutes at $600-700 or even more.

Do you understood now?

Now compare with what are you saying about Series… BINGO.
Wait, are you trying to argue pandemic demand versus non pandemic demand?

Is that your guy's fucking hang up?

Lmao ok. Yeah, wow, Xbox and PS5 no longer have pandemic demand. They don't sell out in 2.86 nanoseconds. There is no longer a desire by the consumer for either product to have it instantaneously like in 2020-2022. That's where the scalper market comes from. The desire to have a product now as opposed to tomorrow or next week.

Xbox demand isn't at a level where everyone wants it now. It's at level like previous consoles before 2020. If it's in stock people will buy it, but if not, they'll wait. They certainly wouldn't buy a marked up unit.

I know you were around the sales community in 2015 2016 or thereabouts. Do you think if PS4 were harder to find at that time, Sony could sell a $50 more expensive bundle with a game like Killzone Shadowfall and sales would remain the same?
No, they wouldn't. The market would've waited for the PS4 standard price to return.

It's 2023, not 2021. Stop thinking the consumer market is the same. That exact thinking is what made Sony target 25M for their fiscal year and we are already seeing that they misjudged how quickly that pandemic era demand would disappear.

Hmm I don't know man. Most of PS5 back in Holiday 2022 was bundles and they disappeared faster then someone dad after they were born. Also didn't Q3FY22 Sony sold like 7.1M PS5, that was really huge sale for something that couldn't find in the store.

I don't think they got restocked until Jimbo outright says they fixed supply issues. Right now they probably got 4nm fab for a small revision and try to offload old units. Meanwhile, well, you know, the withered grass field on the opposite didn't do well, even when Phil says they fixed the supply issue, but the demand issue still there.

Lmao the knuckle dragger is back. His tag should be "always wrong".

Go tell Microsoft you don't think the Xbox Series X bundle with forza is an Xbox Series X.

Man what that has to do with pandemic lol

When a product have supply issues and there is demand for it… the result is a rise in price… so any PS5 (all bundles at any high price) was sold at minutes.

That is how offer & demand works since ever.

If you have a bundled product not being sold It is because there is no demand… so you don’t have supply issues at all… if you have a product on store not selling (no matter if blinded or not) you have a demand issue.

And PS5 supply issues was due production not being enough to cover all demand… even without pandemic it should be the same unless Sony find a way to increased production but from TSMC themselves they were already at max.

After all PS5 was having supply issues even with record breaking numbers.

Did you just unironically compare Forza Horizon 5 to Killzone Shadow Fall? Oooof.roblox.beetlejuice.mp3

Well, they are both at least visually impressive games, especially for their respective genres.
