PlayStation platforms accounted for 82% of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 total console full game dollar sales volume during the October tracking period.
82% of the sales are PS5 including all these Steam sales.
There is no mistake.
Now imagine CoD losing all these if MS choose to make it exclusive... of course they should never do it even if nobody asked.
Plus Gamepass is again killing all sales in others platforms.

Video game hardware spending dropped 23% in October when compared to a year ago. Switch dollar sales fell 38% year-on-year during October, while PS5 declined by 20% and Xbox Series showed an 18% decrease.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to Game Pass did a few things in the US... it resulted in a subscription spending boost, shifted share of full game sales to PlayStation, did not appear to result in massive cannibalization of sales, and did not appear to provide a significant boost to Xbox Series hardware.

Non-mobile video game subscription spending increased by 16% when compared to a year ago. The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as part of Xbox Game Pass was the primary growth driver.

Why did he not include pc in this? Doesn't ABK report to circana the numbers for all platforms? Or don't they for PC?

82% of the sales on Playstation yet he claims Game Pass isn't cannibalizing sales how can he make such a claim???
The data point is almost certainly to show the split between the consoles and talk about the effect of CoD on Xbox with the Gamepass inclusion. Wouldn't make sense to put PC in the mix as well.
As for the this, I think it's complicated?
I recall that ABK gave PC data to Circana, but only Steam and not Battle.net
They're now under Microsoft, which does share everything per the image I shared. But I don't know if the left hand talks to the right hand, if you catch what I mean?
I would wager that Circana has everything but Battle.net but I can't be sure.
Funny how even a 3rd party acknowledges there direct competitors & how announcing numbers on that platform can diminish the EA storefront if Steam users attach sales to EA franchise in similar way to how Steam/PC users attached themselves downplaying the sales on the PS storefront even thoe it sold incredibly well considering it’s only on PS5 w 50 million consoles.Something something we have our own PC store we don't want to rep the competition

Agree but that makes sense for Xbox only.
To see the effects of Gamepass as a whole, PC should also be included cause Gamepass is on PC too.
Didn’t Xbox sales notably fall off even w what seems to be a good cod.
Gamepass definitely cannibalized sales which would make sense as to how Xbox had the most players first time in 10+ years.
Consider Xbox one & Xbox series & whether MS bundles PC/any other platform as a “Xbox”
Yup. Also he doesn't even show splits very much, so this was defintley done to show effects of gamepass, so makes no sense to miss out pc. My guess pc declined aswell and playstation still had a big share compared to the others combined.
Sony should look into buying Silent Hill, MGS & Castle Vania from Konami. Silent Hill performing really well on PS which is kinda surprising but not really consider the ties Konami ip has w PS.
Certainly w PS no longer owning Death Stranding Sony can buy MGS of Konami since they will have no direction outside of the remake & under PS they can reboot the franchise as PS exclusive franchise filling the military/espionage, horror & mid evil/gothic genre that PS lacks. Sure Kojima is making a new game under PS studios but if it isn’t own by Sony & Kojima pulls another Death Stranding the ip & venture w Kojima is pretty pointless outside wasting massive amount of money on something you dont own & time wasted.
Kinda wonder how Konami would feel. There focus on mobile & smaller games/gacha type of ventures that there gaming side mainly AAA sits in a weird position in the industry. Does Konami owns any other notable ip? Yugioh is huge but that fits Konami mobile/card trading/anime ventures
