I just noticed that room with the floating discs behind the crafting station in the Enclave.

I have no friggin clue what that’s about. Some of them give you crit damage when you shoot them.

I’m assuming it’s a makeshift firing range … not sure

I know right… I can’t even tell you if that’s from Witch Queen expansion either. It could be new but I don’t remember the area where we exorcised Savathun’ worm looking like that.

It is possible I somehow missed this with the hundreds of hours I’ve put in since witch queen? Possibly.

Why Something Feels Off About Destiny 2’s Season Of The Haunted

On paper, Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted should be excellent. It’s the first season to bring something out of the content vault, the Leviathan, transform it in a totally unique way, and add it as a patrol space. I

I want to say I mostly agree with Tassi.

The loot table is carrying this season. Solar is pretty awesome. The narrative is strong too.

However…

Nightmare containment should’ve had different versions in each zone and the dungeon should’ve been part of the drop in hindsight.

What’s here is a bit stale. What they did for Guardian games for nightfalls should be standard moving forward. Legendary difficulty from witch Queen campaign should be default playlist difficulty.

PVP needs a shit ton of love. They’re promising more for it with Cathedral of Dusk map from the dreadnaught being datamined for next season but that’s not enough.

It’s not a bad season. It’s just not a good one either. Player count is starting to hurt because of it too but solstice will help it when that happens.

I really enjoyed the hell out of Rift and would’ve preferred if Iron Banner wasn’t only twice this season to play it. Game needs more modes . And there’s an opportunity for D2 to make some gains while all other arena shooters start to lose their appeal.

Game needs a lot of work. There’s some definite growing pains right now but im hopeful for sure.

Maybe it’s tied to those memories that are scattered on the leviathan now. They don’t seem to mark any triumphs..

You get good stuff from the season pass grinding, but it's time consuming, but if you don't have it...

I feel pretty much done with the season. Weekly logins for the 3 Redbox drops a week. There’s no reason for the daily login. Weekends sure for some endgame either trials or dungeon/raid. Maybe more dungeon runs now.

Duality is a pain. I’ve only completed it twice and feel like I’m getting it down pretty nicely now but there’s still so much bullshit that frustrates me in that last boss fight. You need to bring your A game.

They should’ve left Rift in as a seasonal playlist. I know they want to play test it with Iron Banner but that would’ve keep me a bit more entertained..

Ooooo I’ve been waiting for that Austringer skin.

I dumped 4k bright dust on that 3-piece band emote. I never do that and usually just get weapon skins and armor with my bright dust … but I had to.

Spent last week farming bright dust to try and get to 6k before solstice drops for any eververse set being sold.

Altho is solstice armor earned and not ornaments? Is that the stuff we have to complete various tasks to upgrade the armor to legendary with the effects etc? It might be. Hmmm okay maybe no need to farm…

I know players kinda rejected raid lairs expanding on the leviathan as a location…

But I’d like to see this idea revisited. That being the idea of expanding a location.

With concerns of seasonal model feeling stale or needing something different … I’d like to see a location dropped with the expansion that is physically expanded on with the seasonal model from season to season for that entire year.

I honestly wonder if we will see the entire dreadnought return as a seasonal drop. I mean it could happen with the next one.

I want news on this already
