I plan on picking up a switch OLED or maybe regular switch soon. I stopped buying Nintendo systems after the Wii U and New 3DS because of how frustrated I was with all the gimmicky controls they were using.
Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside Story was painful with all the touch screen stuff, and Dream Team was almost impossible to beat for me because of the gyro part towards the end and I encountered a game breaking glitch where I fell thru the ground and didn't want to lose all the progress I did so i saved from out of bounds thinking it would spawn me back inbounds when i restarted the game but nope. It saved me out of bounds so I had to start over.
Also The Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks killed me with it's mandatory flute playing and I almost beat that game towards the end of 2014 but I literally could not beat the final flute section you have to play by blowing into the mic.

I have played a lot of Super Mario Odyssey when it came out and some other switch games on a switch I borrowed but I feel like I want to get the OLED this year and maybe like in 2028 pick up the Switch 2. I don't have much free time to play games as much as I use to but the switch being handheld will help a lot with that. Also I don't plan on buying much more games since I now have a mortgage I have to pay every month so going forward I am going to be buying a lot less games anyway and have a small switch collection I want to replay and look forward to Metroid Prime 4 but I won't probably get to try that out until 2026 to be honest. Another thing too is a lot of my free time is spent playing editing videos anyway.

I have a Switch and plan to get a Switch 2 day 1. Nintendo's first party games are excellent.

I own one and the lure of 3D Mario will probably draw me in sooner or later.

I had a Switch from late 2017 until late 2019 as I traded it in after completing Link's Awakening. Bought the Switch OLED in January 2023 but it lasted two weens because the games looked horrible on my LG CX OLED. Now, im just waiting for Switch 2. Backwards Compatibility being confirmed is excellent news. Now, I just need them to announce that there will be Switch 2 upgrades for games and I will be set.

Got a switch at launch and plan to do the same with switch 2 even if the launch lineup is weak.

Hoping Xenoblade X gets some type of upgrade. Hype for Prime 4, 3d Mario and whatever monolith is cooking. Also hoping Platinum is working on Astral Chain 2, loved the OG

I bought and played in Nintendo consoles up until the Wii and DS.

But after it became clear Nintendo was never again going to bother with subsidized hardware nor decent performance, I lost interest.

The Switch 2 will be releasing in 2025 with hardware that could have been here in 2020, so they'll just keep extending the distance from the state of the art again.

Used to have one. Got it for Xenoblade 2. Ended up not liking the game and sold the console after a year. I think i only finished Mario Odyssey, which was fantastic.

And no, not getting a Switch 2.

Probably for a few exclusives.

I was also going to play more less demanding third party games on it, but i prefer my portal.

I have two Switch consoles, OLED and original. Day one for the next system. Nintendo is a very fun company to follow especially on the hardware side. They always have some new innovation that draws me in so I'm excited to see what they'll come with next.

Have Switch, no immediate interest in buying S2.

Overpriced games are the biggest turn off for me, when it comes to them.

Going to wait on the OLED version, they ain't getting me this time to double dip. They will go through a cross-gen period so will wait and see, got quite a backlog on the Ninty side and barely time to keep up especially on multiple platforms.

I might buy a switch 2, we'll see how the hardware is. I had a switch but gave it away due to the shit hardware making most games unpleasant to play on it

I have a Switch OLED so I definitely want an OLED Switch 2. Either way, I can see myself waiting and not being an early adopter day one. I don't game much on my Switch like I want to.
