Do you plan on buying a PS5 Pro and/or a Switch 2 in 2025?

PS5 Pro is day 1, the Switch 2 will not sell as much as Switch 1 if it's over $400. Most kids drop the thing by the time they reach high school.
PS5 Pro, definitely.
Nintendo Switch 2, yes, depending on how they do it.
I have never owned a Nintendo console; I'm excited to see how they tackle BC and what's the form/power/price factor like. If everything goes great, I'll buy both.

i'm getting both i'll just trade / sell my consoles (PS5, PS4, PS4 Pro and switch) and save up the rest and pay the difference.
Will be looking forward to the ps6 in 3 + years time.

As of now, no to both. I'm not expecting Nintendo to do anything that I would prefer them to do so highly unlikely that I buy Switch 2 and even if I do, it wouldn't last long. Of course, when you're someone who's only completed 10 Nintendo published games from 1996 through 2023, it's safe to say that im not a Nintendo guy.
As for PS5 Pro, I see mid-gen consoles this generation as a total and complete waste because the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are more than capable of lasting 8 years and with every generation, it's usually the last two or three years where you really see developers especially first party take full advantage of what the consoles can do. In this scenario, I see both the base model and pro model as being underutilized with a lot of what they can do never being taken advantage of.

I’m not concretely planning to get a PS5 Pro, but I might just grab one if there’s a good deal on trade-ins.
Neither one. I need to see my PS5 actually reach its limits before I consider a Pro. Switch 2 I already know is gonna be wack.
