A typical Doom game but a bit slower.
And that is great for fans.

I mean it is a good game for these that loves the franchise but I was never into it to be fair.
Always found it boring since the first one... at time I preferred Marathon over Doom but of course Marathon was limited to Mac users while Doom anybody with a PC could play it.

IMO there are way better first-person shooters than Doom in the videogame story... really gems.

I don’t hate Eternal but it didn’t grab me like the first game. It went a bit too Metroidvania and when you lay that with heavy gauntlets of enemies it’s exhausting to play in a way I didn’t find fun like the first.

I’m not looking to play this anytime soon but yea at the right discounted price ill bite for sure

Meh, u played one u played them all. Overhyped IP to the bone.get to arena, shoot everything, finishers, repeat for 8 hours.

MIght check it for 15 pounds or something. Iirc previous dooms got discounts quickly.

Looks like from the DF video the game doesn't have much PS5 Pro enchantments and it overall runs better on Series X which I find pretty suspicious it being a Microsoft game after all.

MS devs are barely touching the PS5 Pro’s hardware. Most games just brute force higher resolutions without a hint of optimization. It’s typical behavior from this disgrace of a company. That’s why I’m damn glad this shitty brand and its equally shitty fanbase are finally going under.
