Source?

Console revenue - 29.5 billion

PC revenue - 500 million

Amazing.

Contact Sony and tell them their PC initiative is a failure and need to stop. I assume they will listen to you since you seem to know better than the people working at Sony.

If you can’t back up your claim then shut up.

Their PC posts have huge ROI, what's why it's a success.

Nice try.

Show me where Sony says PC initiative is a success.

That chart you posted just proved my point.

Console revenue is 29.5 billion yearly.

PC revenue is 450 million yearly. Sony makes that on console every week.

Peanuts.

Love how all development and marketing costs are thrown on PlayStation ports now and PC ports are basically free. Return of Investment LOL.

Topped at 70k.

I wonder if this had a bunch of EA bots and people getting the game just to review and then refunding.
There are plenty reviews only talking shit about the game while recommending.

As I said previously that this will sell around or a little better than outlaws, Although it is funny that at one point monster hunter was niche game only popular in japan when Origins launched and now a free beta does almost 5x the numbers of failguard.

Concurrent numbers for old ports of Sony games is not a good indicator of total sales for their pc runs. It’s sad how the nutters ignore this.

I would compare dragon age to metaphor at the moment… I’ll be surprised if it breaks 3 million but not… since I’d ballpark 3-5 million for dragon age.

Yea I know Inquisition was huge but I still don’t buy the manufactured hype here.

CCU already down 45% with ~39k people playing right now.... They/them went in the wrong dei-rection allright!

  • 38,785 players right now
  • 70,414 24-hour peak
  • 70,414 all-time peak 14 hours ago
Of course it will go up again and maybe top the current all-time peak but man.... This won't reach 150k ccu by miles. That's another game down the shitter.

2024 wall of shame so far:

1. Concord
2. Dustborn
3. SW Outlaws
Unkown 9: Awakening (totally forgot about this piece of tat already as everyone. Hence why it doesnt have a number. Its here for courtesy)
4. Dragon Age: The Failguard

It’s a bit ridiculous to make a claim about count going down when most of lazy gamer America is still asleep tbh and when steam favors international territories outside the Americas not just maybe overall but especially at this hour of the day. Which is wild since that’s when apex does best (overseas).

I’m not expecting it to do much better but tonight or Saturday should give the best insight as that’s when the highest number of players will overlap before the game starts being beaten by many.

I always wanted to try Monster Hunter. Is this any good for a MH n00b?

You’ll be fine. Monster Hunter World was absolutely phenomenal. Just don’t expect a narrative driven by anything worthwhile. It’ll exist but it’s junk.

You won’t be alienated as a new player. You just won’t be an expert. Fun to learn and lots to master … if you want.

I get you but remember what happened with other big releases? The ratios weren't almost 50%
Europe is now awake and lots of school goers have autumn Holiday. We're talking hundreds of thousands of people.

Whatever the numbers are going to be, it won't be enough. It will be another huge financial write-off and we can all see that.

I never thought I'd see the day MH became a mega franchise outside of Japan.
Monster Hunter World in particular was a game changer
The series has been increasing in popularity for a while now, but World truly launched the series into new heights
