DD2 is a CPU heavy game. The CPU in the pro is little different from PS5OG. I can only assume that GPU is doing the grunt work in place of the CPU as Cerny has that variable speed mode tied between CPU and GPU.
It might explain why the game is still struggling to hit 60fps solid.
