Meh. While I enjoyed RE8, it's just repeating the same mistakes RE4, 5 and 5 did. It's gonna take the series down a path that'll require another reboot. We've been through this.

I prefer RE to be third person but I am expecting IX to be first person as it's supposed to end their current three game set of VII, VIII and IX.
According to rumors, 1st person, involves ghosts, witches and wendigos. Native American theme as well.

The jump scares in VR are amazing and crazy.
Quite honestly, I wouldn't expect it. It looks like Capcom is, yet again, moving towards the heavy action route. We'll see but I'm keeping my expectations low.

I Def like 3rd person better but I know a few gave you options between 1st/3rd person view.
1st person with the options to play with 3rd?
Man i dont want to play as chris redfield or jill valentine in 1st person, theyre too iconic in 3rd person mode
