Absolutely true. But it's definitely more PS centric than most other places these days.I mean the forum is multiplatform
It's hard to tell. They all hide behind their PC while they praise Xbox and hate on Sony.
When you call them out they say "I don't have an Xbox, I play on PC!" As if that changes anything. Idiots.
Well, Xbox and PC are closely tied, what with GamePass and all. So a win for Xbox is a win for PC, at least short term.

I don't have an Xbox either... But i mostly game on the ps5 (i do have a pretty decent gaming PC).

We are very relaxed here, like some good banter, etc, but there have been a few people in the past, you can check the ban list for example that come here to troll.

I don't think so. It's pretty common that studios have to shut down because they don't find enough fundings to complete the development of their game or, after releasing, to fill the bridge until the next project or to start getting revenue from the released game.
They may doing everything well, but simply may not find investors, publishers, etc. interested on it. Or they may find some but that offer them abusive conditions or end not paying them for any reason, which often is missing some deadline or reaching certain metrics somewhere.
I know people from dozens, maybe over a hundred studios or companies. I know many cases of studios that had to shut down but I don't know a single case of their boss running away with the money. The opposite, at least here in Spain their boss is the one who gets more in trouble when having to shut down a company when running out of money because he's legally responsible for what his company can't pay.

Dynasty Loop is not suing Microsoft. They might later if the contract is true but I doubt it.
I don't think Microsoft is involved at all. An employee was supposed to go get the cheque from Microsoft in USA (lol) and when they got the cheque it was someone else name on it, not Microsoft.
The employees are suing the owner because she lied to them and never paid them. I think the owner of the studio made up that contract with MS.

Given the rest of the story it's entirely possible, that company owner seems pretty shady. However, MS not paying smaller entities on time would not be new either.
