No way they said that. They were mocking GT for not having RT in gameplay.
No, MS said that PC will have an exclusive RTGI.
Xbox console was still promised RT on-track / gameplay.
So GT 7 has better visuals, better AI, better car models, better weather, Sophie AI, PS VR 2 support, while still being a cross-gen game.

Watch GT7 in motion, even with weather on and in VR, it is buttery smooth

It will. Forza Motorsport games always review better than gran turismo. Them being subpar in terms of simulation matters little.

This doesn't look that great.
As in, it doesn't look better than last gen racing games. Since its coming on gamepass, I'll probably pick it up later in the year to see how the simulation is like, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

Yea, forza s easier to play, more arcade. I played it back in the day. It didnt have wheel support untill 3 or 4.
GT7 has much better online, Sophy, PSVR2 support, 120hz mode, but I doubt reviewers will hold Forza to the same standards.
Doing all that while being a cross-gen title too. And after all the PR bragging about ray-tracing 'on track' obvious dig at GT to then show what they showed is really underwhelming. Its not the final build but I personally think GT7 looks much better with a superior more natural looking lighting model for cars and environments.
Will be interesting to see the final product, will Series S have Raytracing during racing too if not will this affect the Series X game?
