I wonder if this part of the process will have every detail posted online like everything before the final report was. I could imagine a huge circlejerk being had online in certain circles over how "great" Microsoft's appeal arguments are if they ever get posted.

They filed an appeal. It will be a while before we know what the CAT decides though.
When I say trying, I mean that the CAT hasn't made a decision on whether they agree with MS or not and won't for many months.

1 of 2 things can happen. Either the CAT can reject the appeal and the CMA's decision stands or they can grant an appeal and send the case back to the cma, where they can either make a new decision or make the same decision again.

Either way, we won't know what happens until next year at the earliest.

No. Nothing they do will affect it. They're no longer an issue for the regulators. It's all the cloud market now.
