They've always been partnered with AWS. It was a dumb thing to ever approach MS in anyway and apparently the entire company was blind sided by it?

Sony should have went to Google for the stadia tech as mentioned, it's extremely impressive.

I always said that meeting between the CEO's was HIGHLY suspicious. Got a ban on Gaf for saying something along the lines of Ken Yoshida could have sold out PlayStation.

Yup, ceo’s can be so disconnected. Prolly time for this guy to go. He is coasting off of Kaz’s ground work when we was ceo, so far yoshida have not done jack shit for sony worth a damn.

It's funny how MS complained earlier about Sony lobbying against the deal, but are now reportedly running around the UK trying to lobby politicians in favor of overruling the CMA.

I hope they fucking fail.

Me too. It's like watching a spoiled brat who's never been told "no" before. As well, after seeing their handling of the Zenimax acquisition (lies about exclusivity, output like Redfall, etc.), I'd like to see far less of MS in gaming - not more. Here's hoping ABK pulls the plug in July.

If it will be blocked permanently. Imagine m$ bills in the end, they could just spend here 10 billions alone on failed acquisition instead of making games or buying some other few pubs or studios.

Konvoy Ventures btw has a vested interest in seeing M&A succeed. They're a venture capitalist firm, meaning they gather other more successful people's money and bet it all at the casino, or, in this case, gaming and gaming-adjacent start-ups. The main way to exit these positions positively is through another bigger company buying the start-up.
