Looks great. Not expecting Sony to showcase much of the game. Little info throughout the month and gameplay Tuesday which is said to be 4 minutes or so. At this point, does Sony even need to show anymore of Ragnarok? People know what they're getting.

If anything, people just want to see Sony announce their showcase so we can see what the future holds.

The sad truth for me at least is, there is no way i will be playing god of war at launch, no way i can afford that 70 bucks price tag, with that in mind, I want the game out of the spotlight sooner rather than later as i want to see what else sony is cooking behind the scenes.

Are you serious with the $70 thing or just joking around since so many people tend to complain about the price tag? Yeah, I definitely want to see what else Sony has for the future and after GOWR, all the games should be current generation only!!

i am 100% serious, my best bet is waiting for it to hit the sub-service, there must be a lot of people just me.

Okay, gotcha. I'm buying it day one for $70 but im not a collector so once I complete the game, I trade it back to GameStop which will end up making the game $35/$40 after the trade in. If possible, you should try to do the same unless of course, you want to keep the game and maybe replay it down the line or something. In that case, it's a different story.

i normally just wait for sales, my backlog is enormous as it is, so it's not too much of a worry tbh.

I still have not played spiderman, the new ratchet and clank, ghost of Tushima, last of us2 etc

Damn. You have some catching up to do. Loved Tsushima, Spidey and Ratchet. TLOU2 is great but the other three are better games overall in my opinion. Hopefully, you can get around to them at some point.

Sadly the game looks identical (animation and graphics) to the first installment. I guess with this game they just made new content and put a "Ragnorok" label on it. I was really hoping for some new weapons, animation, and a better lighting solution.

It looks like the first game on PC from what I've seen so far, meaning cleaner and with better performance and better shadows.

Still looking very good!! But TLOU Part 1 looks way more impressive.

God of war, 70 buck remaster edition is what you need to be on the look out for.

It's essentially GOW2 (2007) from a tech perspective. Very similar graphics IMO

But I won't be shocked if it ends up being the best GOW game with their focus on other things

They are unlikely to show new weapons before release. But it's basically a guarantee it has them. Especially as the weapons are likely things like Thor's hammer which will give away a bit of the story

I see some improvements in lighting and textures, at the very least. Some animations are not on the previous installment, as there's additional weaponry choices.

I see no improvements to lighting or textures. Let's see what DF says about it. The hammer of Thor would be awesome! I would love to use it instead of the axe.

I know there's new finishers and shield abilities but I think they spent the majority of development on the content and wrapping up the Norse mythology

I think it's going to be a huge game with better boss fights and better set pieces than 2018

I hope so. The main thing I hate about 2018 is that this hub to get to all the places. I would have liked it to be linear like the previous GoW games.
