I'm not sure PS fanboys are crying over Playstation games on PC as it hasn't really shown to have a negative impact on the Playstation business.
There probably are some weirdos that get emotional about that but let's just look at a few basic details:
- Multi platform games historically sell better on Playstation
- This would imply PC still has a long way to go to match the userbase on Playstation
- Xbox has not been able to keep up with Playstation for years
- PC players may actually become Playstation players over time
There has only been an upside to this strategy. Forget about the rabid fanboys- overall the size of that crowd is not that significant. It's only a small portion of the audience.
In my case, while I had a standard PS4 I stopped buying games for it once the PS4 Pro came out and newer games looked better there. I have always had a really good PC to game on.
Horizon Zero Dawn came out on PC, I bought it, played it, loved it, then when PS5 came out I bought that in anticipation for Forbidden West on PS5. I also got Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 while I was at it, and am definitely getting Ghost of Yotei on PS5.
The multiplatform strategy at Xbox is different, as they have been putting games on PC for years. Putting games on Playstation is relatively new. Spencer has even come out and said Xbox lost the war.
Your counterarguments do not work because they are different situations.
You don't need to believe me on all of this just look at the stats.

PC is not killing Playstation business and Xbox certainly isn't either. Playstation fanboys don't actually have anything to cry about.
