Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer Released (Coming in 2025)

I am not a GTA fan in the slightest but i thought it looked great.

2025 is er, a bit of a long wait though.

I thought the trailer was actually pretty impressive (if it is actual gameplay) - the density of npcs, their animations - all look fairly high level. The character models aren't the best but they are good enough and the sheer number and variety of them is kind of mindblowing.

yep, i can agree with that, the density of some places was very impressive and i thought some of the facial animations were great too, i mean if they can keep that kind of quality with hundreds if not thousands of different npc's, I think that is quite an achievement.

I really hope the controls are better, its the one thing that really worries me about a game like this, i did play GTA5 and RDR2 and hated the way the game handled.

I think it is by designed.

No way in hell they made the most advanced game in literally anyway except the movement, and the mission design.

the Vfx is directed at VFX_veteran, he has an alt on here.

As for Animations, the game is a long long way out, i am sure there will be many improvements.

A more pressing concern for me is, will current consoles going to handle the game with out dips all over the place?,

I think locked 30FPS should be best option, going all out. No half-baked 60fps bs.

If you want 60fps just buy PS5 Pro. Hopefully that Sony would at least put an decent upgrade on the CPU.

Looking good. Biggest thing that I am looking for will be the gunplay mechanic. That one area where big improvement needs to be made. Gunplay in GTA games or for that matter other Rockstar games, the gunplay hasn't been the biggest strength.

I think if it would be revolutionary if they have like 2 characters, they can do mixed up where one's actions consequent other playthrough.

No matter how wild your imagination is, the end result will still be the same, same old GTA linear mission structure .

Love me some Rockstar games - and the trailer was polished and looked great overall - but something about the trailer just didn't get me hyped.
Don't know if it was the story set-up, having multiple characters again - or what, something seemed off.

Either way: Love the look they gave little Haiti / Hatian gang members.

Maybe because it's more of the same? Just doesn't have the effect the older titles would have.

Maybe? Hope future info / trailers bring some unexpected goodness! Maybe that was it - I just didn't see anything new that added something new to the gameplay.
