Helldivers 2 a PlayStation & Sony own ip is having Steam exclusive cosmetics for 2 days!

Or if PS leadership is completely incompetent but having exclusive cosmetic on your competitors platform is a dangerous president. When for the multiplayer games cosmetics is really the only thing people chase & would bend a knee to get, especially if it’s rare.

This whole 2 days exclusivity should be for PS players not Steam. Also why is this event on Steam & not on PS or just on twitch, youtube or discord where’s it’s not tether to any platform.

Whats next exclusive cosmetic for Lego Horizon for Nintendo players.

This should never happen again. It makes Steam the platform to play Helldivers 2 knowing there will be potentially future bonus/benefits that aren’t on PS console. Shameful.

Doesn't matter arrowhead lost me as a customer due to their amateur hour clownery from launch till now, next time I won't buy their shit and discourage my brothers and friends as well. This studio is going to be a one hit wonder most probably with how they function anyways

Not even sure why Arrowhead even made this a steam exclusive when they could’ve announced that they would get free armor by just watching the stream on twitch just make sure your account is connected to PS or Steam or just solely PS. Not sure what’s taking PS long for them to bring back the PSN requirement but allowing this is idiotic in many sense. Whether AH is talking to Sony & Sony don’t care or AH is doing this by themselves with no feedback from Sony this is a knife stab in the back of PS from AH to do some shit like this without approval especially given it’s exclusive cosmetic on a competitor platform.

Updates should hit across PS5 & PC simultaneously

If it’s ready on PC it should be delay till the PS version is ready. Not sure for the rush but having updates release early on PC just make the PS version inferior. Makes people want to play on PC instead to get & cover the updates first on PC instead on PS5 or simultaneously making both version neutral.

The TR-40 Golden Eagle armor will be accessible in Helldivers 2 for all players on all platforms on August 8 2024, but there is a way to get access to it 48 hours early.

Players who watch the 24 hour developer livestream that starts on Steam at 6 August 2024 10am BST / 2am PT (at this link) will be able to get the Golden Eagle armor early, but only if they also play the game on Steam - presumably entering the livestream will grant the armor on the same Steam account.

Escalation of Freedom Steam Livestream Event FAQ​

• The stream will be shown just on Steam.
• The stream will start at Terça-feira, 6 de agosto de 2024 às 06:00
• It'll loop for 24 hours (pre-recorded). You don't have to be there as it starts.
• The TR-40 Golden Eagle armor will be available to Steam users if you watch the broadcast.
  • PS5 players won't get the armor early, but they will get it free on Thursday.
  • The minimum time to watch is around 10 minutes, but you should hang around for a while to make sure (and because it might be cool)
• The armor will be available 48 hours early for steam users tuning into the stream.
  • But EVERYONE will get it starting on Thursday.
• The armor is free, and will be sent to you automatically
  • Anticipate a delay in getting it, as the system wont be able to give it to everyone at the same time
    • (It would tire out the hamster)

The early access is just for Steam users that watched their streaming for at least 10 minutes... the streaming will be in loop for 24 hours.
The early access delivery will start 48 hours before it is available to everybody but keep in mind that there will be delay so not everybody will get it 48 hours before... depending of how much demand has it can even be delivered together with everybody lol
