Not sure if this is the right place, if mods feel like this should go to off-topic, please go ahead saw this amazing deal and thought it might benefit some of you guys, especially those who use PC monitors for gaming.

4K 120hz with VRR (works on both PS5 and Series X|S) and HDR.

If you want an affordably priced display that has all the features to utilize the current-gen consoles for the next couple of years, it's great price.

Another great monitor is the Gigabyte M32U but that one is priced higher at $699. Though this one, at the $490 price point, is a fantastic value. .

And no I don't get any residuals from people using the link above 😅

Very nice, of course you'd never get such a deal where I live.... everything is overpriced here.

Hope a few people can take advantage of this deal here though.

I've not used this monitor but I've had other Acer before. Some 144hz 1440p model few years ago also from Nitro lineup.
It had an ok picture quality but QA was terrible and the frame had big uneven gaps. I returned it.

This being 500$ 32" 4k144hz with hdmi 2.1 is a great deal nonetheless !!!
of Couse this is ips with basic HDR, so I would for sure not get it for HDR

This one is a VA panel, but yes the HDR peak brightness is very basic barebones, so this won't be a great HDR display but SDR will be extremely good.

And its a good future proof way for more 40fps modes in the coming releases.

hmm says it's IPS but the name is so complicated lol.

Anyway - I don't mind 400nits for HDR. the problem is lack of dimming zones buy I can't reasonably expect that in this price

Yeah, the names are confusing. The one you linked is from 2021

This one, the one this topic is for, is a model released in October 2022.

If money is not an issue today the Sony AK95 is the very best TV in the market.

If you want to pay a bit less Samsung S95B is the name.

Both uses the same Samsung QD-OLED panel.
