This is such an amazing game. I was so surprised by it.
For some reason, I decided to watch al HP movies before it's release.
Previously as a child, I was not HP fan at all. It was lame honestly. I've seen a movie or two back then.
But now the movies are fucking awesome. Especially the later darker ones. I love the tone. And watched all in english and not stupid polish dub.
And so I got a bit hyped for the game and OMG did it deliver! Amazing graphics! music, everything.
Sure the storyline is just OK but I just love the simple gameplay. It was so relaxing and stake free. The combat was extremely fun.
I am so happy they didn't go all the way into "stealth at night" or some points/morality systems. It's a game that looks great and is an absolute no stress to play.
And the best thing about it is they didn't hold back. you unlock adava kadadavra and you unalive fools left and right. They didn't put some arbitrary limit on it lol.
I don't like bloated open world games but I collected all the pages in this!

If I remember correctly I did it in 2 sittings. Maybe 4 hours total
I understand the frustration of separating the art from the artist, this is similar to why they were critical of Wukong.
While it's true JK will receive a percentage of the game revenues, there is also a very dedicated team of developers behind this game, and it's unlikely the entire development team espouses the same viewpoints. On the contrary, it seemed the studio went out of their way to write in trans inclusivity options both in character creation and cast. While they could've made a generic "wizard game" the brand recognition of Harry Potter is still very strong, and it's tough out there for game developers these days.

Ah..! A Merlin puzzle!
i hated hearing that or variations when getting 100%. It took me so long to 100% that game, especially with a bug showing up because I did a camp before a side quest showed up, needing me to save animals from a locked cage I already unlocked and saved from lmao. They spawned in the cage, with the cage locked, but there was no lock for me to unlock.
