A B+ from me.
A good cadence of different games with Sept/Oct/Nov release from 1st party, no HUGE hitter but there's quantity. Which is pretty much all you could hope for a system that is that old and is on its last year as the only console available.
A new Mario Party and a Zelda game are going to sell well and a new M&L is just extra.
Things like the HD-2D DQ 3(and 1+2) are probably going to sell a boatload of copies on Switch in Japan.
the double standard is what pisses me off
I think it's less double standards but different fanbases vibing with different things.
MTX in games is super common, but just imagine some CRPG developer starts putting some in their games.
Just wait to see deluge of negative review being left on Steam compared to any other game if that was to ever happen.
Something nobody would bat an eye on in another genre.
Star of the show for me was Marvel Capcom Crossover. Xmen vs SF is like my favourite fighter along with SFA2.
Funny that a Nitendo Direct was the one who had the announcement. Bodes well for a Switch 2 port of SF6(not that I had any doubts, it runs on PS4 afterall.)
Seeing a non-arcade 1UP cabinet thing coming out is putting hopes with Capcom fans that MvC4 is a possibility.
People had given up hope considering MvCI was a disaster and the relationship between Marvel and Capcom was quite tenuous during the development which led to an acrimonous breakup.
Of course the Marvel Games of 2014-2017~ and the Marvel Games of now is completely different, so there was always some vague hope, but now the hopium is in full force for a potential sequel.
