ok cool, but you were already sold on some xbox games coming to playstation way before the t shirts. So leakers/insiders information can't be cope sauce to you.

Phil increased xbox fire power tremendously. He just needs to get games out the door consistently and hopefully their good.
Positive Xbox 'leaks' from alleged insiders is definitely copesauce to me. That's the difference. It goes against everything we've seen and heard and experienced. Xbox is dying.
Timed exclusive for everything they have? No need for the box for the majority of gamers then.

They won't have great sales if it's not day one, but if that's what they want, so be it.
We'll have more complete and polished versions on PlayStation, and for those who can wait a bit longer, will be able to play them when included in PS+ (there's a ton of Zenimax games in PS+ as is).

Majority of gamers already do not want one now, it's not going to change in the future.
On Jez and Rand latest podcast, Jez said Xbox exclusives are here to stay but that those exclusives might go multiplat to PlayStation down the road. LMAO. Yeah, this could be the new messaging from Xbox. Xbox: "We have day n date on Gamepass, but if that's not to your liking have no fear we'll port the game to Switch and PlayStation later. When we all play we all win."
Microsoft just shot themselves in the foot.
I don't know how much you know about gaming culture (I'm an expert) but sales and hardware are a huge part of it. It isn't like in Hollywood where you can be an arsehole to everyone, gaming requires respect and fan service.
What Microsoft has done is alienate at huge part of this fan base.
Sarah Bond, reverse this decision or kiss your platform food bye!

The funny thing is that when they realize that isn't working they'll move progressively towards day+date on all platforms. I don't know why they're struggling so much when it's beyond clear that the xbox platform is a dead dream and they need to cut their losses.
But honestly this way is better for me as the more failure they experience the more likely it is that microsoft just gets the fuck out of gaming entirely, i don't want that company anywhere near this hobby because their corporate ethos is so toxic. If they take down ABK with them that's just the cherry on top.
I'd say their plan for this gen is:
- Most MGS studios titles remain console exclusive, some (those with more potential to sell in other consoles after some time) timed console exclusive
- All Mojang, Zenimax, ABK full multiplatform, most pre-acquisition IPs day one on rival, most new IPs released after acquisition would have timed console exclusive
They, MS, don't want to assume that the money they have comes from two monopolies... they want to pretend that it is merit, that they earn worth 3 trillion.
If Windows and Office had relevant competition in the last 15 years, MS wouldn't even exist today.
