I don’t think this will score as high as Deathloop but can see it having a Deathloop type response where critics are over the moon with it but the consumers aren’t and are scratching their heads over what critics are seeing with this game.

Looks great. Can't freaking wait!! If im off the weekend the game goes into Early Access, I will most likely pay the $35 to get Early Access, the pre-order bonuses and the expansion set for 2025 so I can play early. Looking forward to Indiana Jones and it being more of an adventure game than a straight action shooter. Hyped!!! 😂

Looks shite. First person fighting looks off, rubbish animations, and they fact they show so much in terms of cut scenes and just snippets of gameplay says a lot.

This preview at PC Gamer seems to sum the game up nicely - fairly basic stealth game. The adventure seems to be picking up artifacts.

Hopefully, they can capture the feel of the first two movies in the game. Those were by far the best and made Indy what it was.

Not sure about all this punching in the game, I hope it does not end up being tedious with five nazi's standing around you and you need to fight each one of them, then repeat the same thing in another room.

I would like to see some shooting in the game, it seems like they are not showing a lot of that.

I am sniffing a 8/10, look forward to hearing what you guys think when you have played it.

Machine Games score history:

79 - Wolfenstein: New Order
76 - Wolfenstein: Old Blood
87 - Wolfenstein: The New Colossus
69 - Wolfenstein: Youngblood
50 - Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot

Average:

72

Their Quake contributions were just expansions, so those are not listed (not scored at metacritic)

So not a stellar history. The New Colossus seems to be their claim to fame. I bought the game for Indy, as he is who I grew up with (and Han Solo!)

It's weird and a bit unfair how some studios get boxed into a certain score...
