I had high hopes for Arrow Lake, and of the two current-gen processor lines, it beats out archrival AMD's Ryzen 9000 series, which is a positive. However, the new Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and Intel Core Ultra 5 245K really aren't any better than the chips they are replacing, and their efficiency gains are too modest to justify investing in a whole new platform

More share for AMD is always good. Intel processors have been overrated for awhile. I can't believe they are still the to go CPUs in laptops as if we were in 2007

Maybe some monkey business with the OEMs as they did back in the day?

Seems like the processor to go if you work with a laptop.
Not so much if you want to game on that laptop.

For me should be the best option... probably the next company replacement will give us another super expensive Dell with these processors (the last one costs here in Brazil R$14999... ~$2700).

Same here, I am getting company laptops on the cheap but they all use Intel chips, I'd rather have an AMD one as a batocera PC.

IRIS XE is somewhat decent graphics wise though. Still far of what AMD can do but an improvement.

Yeap when they do the replacement I can buy the old one… I got one so cheap last time… like $25.
