If MS had games they would release them.

My question is if Sony will have the games in the upcoming years given how long game production is taking for most studios. So far so good, surprisingly.
Games are taking so long that the current gen will become very long. I still think MS will try to start the next generation as soon as they can.

I bring this up because installed base this gen is going to get ugly quick, Remember when microsoft had the marketing for cod at the beginning of last gen, did that really make a differene? Im sure statistally it does but they still began to be outsold day one. I wonder if sony sort of is overstating how vital cod is, espcially now that xbox is less relavent than its ever been? I feel like sony just needs one of their own first party gaas service games to be good and they can just go crazy with the marketing. MS will inevitably kill cods relevance probably sooner than later. I feel like sony has enough mindshare and marketing clout that they could sort brute force the "next big thing" as long as the quality is there.
