Nintendo doesn't care about whatever Sony and MS does, and doesn't care about CoD either. CoD and similar never performed well on Nintendo platforms. Both Nintendo and MS fans want Sony to go down.
Nintendo is siding with MS on the Activision deal. Kojima is working with MS.
Really Sony has no allies in the gaming industry.
Sony has the biggest AAA 3rd party and indie 3rd party support of all three. It's the one with more allies.
They all had big deals with Sony. EA did put their service on PS, has marketing deals with Sony like with all the FIFAs. The biggest Ubi games like Valhalla or Far Cry 6 also had marketing deals with Sony, and did put tons of Ubi games on PS. Take 2 also had the GTA5 & Online next gen marketing deal with Sony and not sure if also has marketing deal with NBA2K. Warner also makes marketing deals with Sony for their main games, like Howgart's Legacy, Suicide Squad or Mortal Kombat.EA, Ubisoft, Take2 and all the other pubs, none of them came out in support of Sony.
Square, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Konami or Koei Tecmo also have their deals with Capcom, even different types of exclusives. In the indie side in addition to the game specific deals like Kena, Stray or Sifu, Sony also often has deals with Devolver or Annapurna.
Basically all the big names are with Sony.
They didn't update the sales numbers for a while, but it was on track to be the best selling Kojima game ever. It was the game that won more GOTY awards of its year. They made a PC port, a Director's Cut and announced a sequel and a movie.Kojima can stay over with MS tbh because I'm pretty sure Death Stranding was a flop, he's an overrated storyteller and any game he releases on with MS would flop even worse than Death Stranding
It's a big success and both sides are happy, not a flop at all. He may do a project with MS, but continues working with Sony.
