Kojima can stay over with MS tbh because I'm pretty sure Death Stranding was a flop, he's an overrated storyteller and any game he releases on with MS would flop even worse than Death Stranding
It wasn’t a flop but it wasn't that big a deal. Many people didn't like it at all. The sequel might be better.
Now Kojima is smiling with Greenberg and eating with the Xbox team while MS is making daily interviews where they shit on Sony publicly. I'd be embarrassed to pose with them while this is going on.

i couldnt stand DS. Garbage. I managed like 10 houra bwfore deleting it. So much potential with world and i have to balance my geriatric character walking cause he cant walk on 2 legs. Kojima was always fraud.
Its just money talk. Nothing more. Currently ms s paying more.
Kojima is also working with Sony on Death Stranding 2. These companies are just doing what they think will get them more money in the long term.

Ok flop was an exaggeration, but my point was that Kojima isn't some megaton seller that needs to be protected at all costs from MS. I'm sure Death Stranding 2 will do the same amount of sales as the first one, which is, okay enough to release the sales number years down the line like the first.

I've been seeing some truly delusional takes from Xbox fans coping with this fact. Nintendo is giving them nothing in return.
In reality Nintendo is probably requiring MS to front some of the cost in bringing COD to their platforms, in order to have them publicly 'support' the activision deal. Nvidia is another example.
Nintendo stands to gain games and users from the MS/acti merger, that is a fact. They'd be foolish to deny hand-delivered and guaranteed Call of Duty games when they don't have them to begin with, as of now.
I'm a Nintendo fan. I don't want Sony to go down at all. They are leading the charge for high end gaming.

just counting my collection alone maybe ~20% of the switch games I own are also on Xbox.
Switch has pretty much no western AAA games and Xbox has no Japanese games.

Nintendo would never let a Mario title go to Xbox, and the sheer delusion in thinking an obscure 2019 Platinum/Nintendo anime game like Astral Chain would be pity-ported to Xbox in 2023 is one of the dumbest things i've ever heard, especially since it's well documented that Platinum refuses to work with Xbox after Scalebound.
It's just jealousy, always over platinum especially. You have to remember, Xbots thought Platinum was theirs. Bayonetta on the 360 was the far and away best version, and scalebound was one of their most hyped games.
Nintendo completely stole Platinum out from under Microsoft's nose and they've been very bitter about it ever since.
Well, it sold millions of copies and it's a Sony IP. I'm sure they got their ROI multiple times from it.

No singlular thing would be huge, but it would be huge with his fans. Plenty PS fans like myself are Kojima fans. Most Kojima fans are PS fans because thats where they have played all his games for the last 2+ decades.
Ill buy his games wherever they are, same with Miyazaki, Persona, Final Fantasy etc.

EA, Ubisoft, Take2 and all the other pubs, none of them came out in support of Sony. Activision is shitting on them everywhere. Bethesda is gone. Sega are giving all their deals to MS. Valve lol.
Even Square had many full exclusives on 360 + the famous tomb raider deal so they're not that loyal.
Business is business. Also, Square and Sony have so many deals this gen that Xbox fanboys REALLY hate them, so I wouldn't say that Sony have no "allies". These companies act out of convenience anyway and you shouldn't expect any to be "loyal". The only devs that will always be available to put games on a platform are the first-party ones and even then there are exceptions like Bungie.

They are not doing that much business on Xbox so I fail to see why all the pubs are on their knees in front of MS. A little positive press for Sony every once in a awhile would be great.
At least they have their customers and that's the most important in this business.
