in the late 90's early 00's it was a members only club that got to trial niche and new games on demo discs, lots of cool games also released during this time frame, lots of variety tons of JP and asian titles etc. it was the best time to be a ps gamer IMO. THINK WWF attitude era.

I think he means like PS3 vibes, how Xbox and Wii kinda felt more mainstream and PS3 felt more "underground".

Fuck, he needs to stay through this gaas initiative, PlayStation needs great multiplayer games again. Hopefully another European replaces him, or a Japanese exec but please God no more Americans.
