So MS should release those games for the Xbox series s, Xbox series x, xbox handheld, xbox new platform, ps5, pc?

Or did I miss a platform?

Don't know if they should or shouldn't but it is what im expecting them to do. I believe that gaming has changed a lot in the last five years and will continue to change even more. It's going to be about the value proposition a platform gives you as well as where your friends play. For me, Microsoft releasing their first party games on Xbox Series X/S, PC or PlayStation doesn't change anything for me. I want their next gen hardware. The only way my opinion towards Microsoft in regards to Xbox changes is if day one games on Game Pass Ultimate ends or Game Pass itself ends which I don't see happening because it's their true "exclusive".

Jez Corden: "Lol, don't believe everything you read on the Internet, especially not this cringe website. Christ."

But in his article he wrote:
It has been implied to me that Microsoft prioritizes stock in the United States and other western markets during the holiday season, and towards the end of the generation, fewer consoles are being manufactured globally in general

Is Jez Cordon tweeting we shouldn't believe what he writes on the Internet, especially not on his cringe website?

Xbox is the OG of killing a console quickly and easily. They had to, though, because Nvidia bamboozled them.

We've already had a thread about this topic in general, but while Jez Corden relied on his Xbox insider to support him with a steady stream of hopium/copium, the whisper accidentally revealed a bit too much behind the curtain.

While defending Xbox availability in certain countries, the insider told Jez that there are naturally fewer consoles being manufactured during the end of the generation. The end of the generation?
But with only 4 years in, we're currently smack in the middle.

Did the Xbox whisperer reveal a bit too much? By revealing that the series consoles are at the end of their generation?

I'd say MS is removing Xbox hardware availavility from some countries it isn't because if going to launch the next gen soon, but because of lack of Xbox demand there.

Seeing the units being almost none in places like Spain, obviously in countries with smaller sales like Saudi Arabia they must be almost zero. So it would make more sense to shut down operations there and cover these countries from somewhere else in that region.

Regarding fewer consoles being manufactured: if it isn't another lie from him or just a gossip from a random internet user with no insider knowledge at all, and really somebody else with insider knowledge told him something, maybe that other person meant that the yearly console sales make a curve, and when like in the case of Xbox, PS5 and Switch they are in the later half, it's normal that every year their sales (so manufacturing) keeps decreasing. Which doesn't imply that they will be replaced by their successor in a year or two.

Some generations ago the Xbox consoles got replaced every 5 years or so, but in the most recent case it took 7 years for PS and Xbox to get replaced. So it would make more sense to see a proper next gen replacement by 2027 or so.

Something MS could release before, in a year or so, would be a Series S/Steamdeck like PC handheld that wouldn't be more powerful than a Series X.

So MS should release those games for the Xbox series s, Xbox series x, xbox handheld, xbox new platform, ps5, pc?

Or did I miss a platform?
Nintendo, in cases where the hardware is enough to run the game decently. And soon mobile/cloud too.

It reminds me of the original Xbox, which had a 4-year lifespan. The original Xbox did have good games, though.
That wasn't by choice. Nvidia refused to continue making the OG Xbox chip, causing Microsoft to have a falling out with both Intel and Nvidia and choosing AMD for the 360, One and Series consoles.
However, the rumours are Microsoft is going back to Nvidia because AMD keep withholding tech from them in favour of Sony.
In fairness, Cerny is making leaps and bounds on AMD kit, so it's only fair that Sony get the secret sauce and Microsoft get the off the shelf parts. It's why the 13tf 'worlds most powerful console' can barely run games at 30fps, where as the weaker '9tf' console can put out games like Ratchet and Clank without it breaking a sweat.

The other rumour is that Microsoft will make a handheld console, which, if they do go with Nvidia, would make sense as Nvidia builds the tech for the Switch.
Though apple could throw a spanner in the works if they make a handheld.

Xbox and PlayStation’s problem is they showed us that cross gen is definitely a thing.

I don’t plan on ever buying a Xbox ever again. (I do plan on eventually getting a PS6)

But Xbox will make all their semi exclusives available bare minimum on the series x, so I’ll have zero reason to get their next console.
