Rise of the Tomb Raider was such a great game dude. I never played Shadow of the Tomb Raider, is it better or worse than the previous entry?

I skipped Shadow when it first came out, after the poor reviews. I ended up getting it for free on PS+, granted that was a year+ after release, and wasn't impressed. Something about that style of game didn't age particularly well.

TR 2013 and Rise in 2015 i have good memories of, though.

always the story with xbox. Even when they get something good, they can never hold onto it for long.

And this is exactly why Microsoft is and will continue to acquire studios and/or publishers. This way, they own it and don't have to worry or be concerned about losing it months/years later to a competing platform.

I am hoping the new Tomb Raider will be good. Apparently, Crystal Dynamics are a lot further in development of the new game according to the reports and it will be out a year before Perfect Dark Reboot.

i have little faith in it after Shadow and crystal dynamics avengers, and with them being spread thin with Perfect dark, and the fact that Amazon is publishing... tons of red flags right now. I'll wait and see.

I think avengers really hurt the studio beyond anything we can imagine.

I'd have to agree to a certain extent - I fell into the hype and purchased Avengers day 1. I fell in love with the combat system, I think the heroes and the fighting was very well done. But the structure of the game, repeated content and a not so great gearing and loot system really fucked it. It's sad because you could tell they tried to salvage it over the years. I think it had a ton of potential but just didn't work out.

I am hoping Rocksteady doesn't fall to the same dillema with Suicide Squad. And yeah, there is a lot of spread going on within the studio. Wasn't there also a rumor or an official poll that Soul Reaver is coming back? I could of sworn the devs mentioned something about that. Anyways...only time will tell how these games end up playing.

Yeah, I can understand that but The Order 1886 decreases the year as does Until Dawn but to a lesser extent. Microsoft had Ori, Halo 5 and FM 6. All in the high 80's. Overall better year for Xbox One than PlayStation 4 but I know that a lot of people love Bloodborne.

I felt until dawn was good as well. PS4 just had way more of the types of games that interested me.

I felt until dawn was good as well. PS4 just had way more of the types of games that interested me.

I liked the first half of Until Dawn when it felt like a Jason slasher film. Second half, I was disappointed. I agree with you though.
