Those bitches. For the record... the most interesting parts of the doc are restricted.
They used a lot of sales data inside but public can't read.
Let's not kid ourselves here: MS felt that blow and felt hard.
Honestly curious what "blow" you think they felt. Something Sony specifically complained about?Let's not kid ourselves here: MS felt that blow and felt hard.
Too late, after the precedent made with the Bungie purchase, VERY FEW devs from now on will be willing to be part of PlayStation without assurance that they can still make multiplats.Imagine if sony had a molecule of foresight and acquired atlus and fromsoft when they were sold pennies on the dollar back in the day and kept their shares in square enix. I get why sony is mad and their point makes sense but they need to adapt and lock down key partners while they still can.

Yeah I don't know about all that, Activision Blizzard alone makes over 1/3 of PlayStation's entire revenue all its own. You're going to have to rethink things. There is nothing anti-competitive about it, even after que acquisition MS will still be barely able to compete with Sony.
If they kill CoD like they killed Halo they'll have burned through billions of dollars, very little margin for error on this one. The founders of Infinity Ward already left, the main series is in decline and Warzone is facing fierce competition.
Sony will probably start to push Apex Legends instead of CoD in the next few years and looking at the numbers Apex Legends seems just as popular as Warzone. Once again MS is betting on IP (CoD) when they should've bet on the creators (Respawn).
That is the opposite of MS says in the doc.Yeah I don't know about all that, Activision Blizzard alone makes over 1/3 of PlayStation's entire revenue all its own. You're going to have to rethink things.
Activision Blizzard's revenue last year was 8 billion, PlayStation's was 24 billion. Not a whole lot to dispute. That is the opposite of MS says in the doc.
You know that Activision Belizzard's revenue didn't come all from PlayStation.Activision Blizzard's revenue last year was 8 billion, PlayStation's was 24 billion. Not a whole lot to dispute.
I'm not saying that, reread the beginning of his post and then mine. He's saying Microsoft still won't be able to compete when Activision Blizzard's revenue alone equals 1/3 of PlayStation's revenue in its entirety. The guy is delusional. You know that Activision Belizzard's revenue didn't come from PlayStation.
Microsoft only said removing COD won't put Playstation out of business. You know that Activision Belizzard's revenue didn't come all from PlayStation.
MS used the % of Sony revenue that is made by Call of Duty and Activation Blizzard's games as an example that CoD and Activision Blizzard's games are not that important like Sony said in CADE.
That goes against what you are saying.
Let's not kid ourselves here: MS felt that blow and felt hard.
